Abstract

Modern man has attacked nature, which is the altar of irrational beliefs at the point of progress and orientation to the future, which he calls wild. Each mythical narrative believed to be of barbarian origin was seen as outdated, a phase that must be overcome and abandoned. However, modern consciousness has spoiled the leaven of the living world and rendered the sacred worthless. Thus, ideological narratives constructed by the upper mind have been placed in society as conscious truths. In this direction, the study focuses on revealing the connotations of various images in the context of the American Gods TV series about concepts such as gender, technology, space exploration, and surveillance as a form of sociocultural interpretation through the art of cinema.
